Some weak skill design, boring and limited viable builds, and Land of the Dead, drags it far far down. Necromancer - ugh, so disappointing, since Necro is probably my favorite in D2. It just seems to have a tendency of its most boring builds also being its best. Still, it is the main spell caster of the game, cant really dislike it.Ĭrusader - It is decent, very much the tanky class, and I enjoy that part of it. Firbolg and Kalashtar are great choices for. Gnomes and Vedalken both start out with +2 INT, which will get them closer to maxing that stat. Those going for the Wizard build will want to choose one that buffs their Intelligence. Wizard - spell casters tend to be my favorites in games. When building a Necromancer, picking a race is entirely dependent on the class chosen. Not much interest in the non-pet builds however. The Wizard is the final character from D3, though the Necro is the first of. WD - Have really enjoyed it as a pet class. The female Wizard from Diablo 3 and the Male Necromancer from Diablo 2 will. I have enjoyed all the classes to some degree.Ī ranked list, best to worst, over time (some of it from vanilla, some of it now, so a bit hard to compare directly):ĭemon Hunter - I like the overall design and skill set. Maybe it is because they all feel too similar at this point, that I dont really have very strong feelings one way or the other (except for the Necro!).
